Pilar G. Dexter, President

Ms. Dexter, founder and President of Straight Line Industries, Inc. since 1993, is a graduate of Georgetown and New York Universities. She gained her professional experience working for the United Nations Development Programme, and for a major health care consulting firm in New York City. She is an active member of several professional and business organizations including the American Traffic Safety Services Association, the Associated General Contractors of New York, the National Association of Women in Construction, the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Dexter was honored with a mention in 2000 in the Historical Encyclopedia of American Women Entrepreneurs published by Greenwood Press.

Richard A. Fremont, Director of Operations Mr. Fremont directs Straight Line’s field and technical operations and is well respected throughout the industry for his experience and top quality striping techniques. His handiwork can be seen on interstates throughout the northeast as well as in Pennsylvania, Kansas and Missouri. Prior to joining Straight Line Industries, Mr. Fremont was director of operations for more than 19 years at the Albany County Airport, and was the founder and president of Pavemark Striping Systems, Inc. He is an active member of the American Traffic Safety Services Association and the Associated General Contractors of New York State.

James W. Wiley, Field Superintendent

Mr. Wiley is one of Straight Line’s most experienced technicians, specializing in small machine operations. He is particularly skilled in the application of pavement markings on running tracks. Prior to joining Straight Line Industries, Mr. Wiley was a striping technician with Pavemark Striping Systems.

John J. Williams, Field Superintendent and Safety Officer

Mr. Williams is also one of Straight Line’s most knowledgeable technicians. He specializes in highway layout and truck applications, and oversees the overall safety plan for the company. Prior to joining Straight Line Industries, Mr. Williams was an EMT with Albany County, a Crash and Rescue Fireman with the Albany County Airport, and gained his industry experience as a striping technician with Pavemark Striping Systems.
